  • 2 medium yellow onions, diced
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley or green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours until fork-tender.
  5. Remove the beef from the slow cooker, shred it using two forks, and mix it back with the sauce before serving.
