  • 2 tsp instant yeast (7g)
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar (25g)
  • 1 tsp salt (5g)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter (56g), softened
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, yeast, sugar, and salt until well combined.
  2. Add warm milk, softened butter, and eggs to the dry mixture. Stir until no dry flour remains.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the kneaded dough in an oiled bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm spot until doubled in size (1-2 hours).
  5. Punch down the risen dough and shape it into a log for your loaf pan.
  6. Allow it to rise again until nearly doubled (30-45 minutes) while preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown on top.
  8. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
