- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 6 black olives (for decoration)
- Fresh chives or parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Boil the eggs: Place eggs in a saucepan, cover with cold water, and bring to a boil. Cover, remove from heat, and let stand for 12 minutes.
- Cool and peel: Transfer eggs to ice water for cooling. Peel under running water.
- Prepare the filling: Cut eggs in half lengthwise; scoop yolks into a bowl. Mix yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, salt, pepper, and paprika until smooth.
- Fill the egg whites: Pipe or spoon the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
- Create spiders: Slice black olives into rounds; use one round for the body and two for legs per egg. Arrange on top of filled eggs.
- Chill & serve: Refrigerate until ready to serve.
