Instructions

  5. Divide batter between pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Allow cakes to cool in pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
  7. Whip cold heavy cream until soft peaks form; gently fold in caramel sauce.
  8. Frost between layers and top the entire cake with remaining frosting.
