  • 23 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
  • 10 egg roll wrappers
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger (grated)
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 4 green onions (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook diced chicken breasts until no longer pink (6-8 minutes). Add minced garlic and grated ginger halfway through.
  2. Stir in shredded cabbage and chopped green onions; cook for about 3-4 minutes until softened.
  3. Drizzle soy sauce and sesame oil over the mixture; season with salt and pepper. Mix well and let cool slightly.
  4. Place about 2 tablespoons of filling on an egg roll wrapper, fold corners, and seal with water.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan until shimmering. Fry egg rolls in batches until golden brown on all sides (3-4 minutes per side).
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot with dipping sauces.
