Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb large shrimp, deveined
  • 1 lb ribeye steak
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp blackening seasoning
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients and gather them on your countertop.
  2. Cook the fettuccine in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving some pasta water.
  3. Season the ribeye steak with blackening seasoning and sear in a hot skillet for 4-5 minutes per side until charred and tender. Remove from the skillet and let it rest before slicing.
  4. In the same skillet, add more butter if necessary, then sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds. Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque (3-4 minutes).
  5. Reduce heat to low; stir in heavy cream and gradually add Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  6. Toss cooked fettuccine into the skillet with reserved pasta water as needed for desired consistency. Mix until well combined.
  7. Serve immediately garnished with chopped parsley.
